There is a difference between dating and matrimonial sites and there is also a difference between social networking and dating sites. In India there are many matrimonial sites and they are not a dating site however these sites have some features of social networking. Dating Sites are different because from matrimonial sites because dating is for dating, flirting and friendship it is somehow closer to social networking.
In India there are some dating sites too but there are not so popular.
